At the start of the event, all participants traveled by coach to the "Eye Valley Pupil" exhibition hall. Guided by Fang Huixiao, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Wenzhou Eye Valley Development Service Center, the group toured the Eye Health Science Museum. The museum organically integrates graphic display panels, physical specimens, and multimedia interactive installations, and through this technology-rich, immersive experience, the visitors gained a deeper understanding of the eye health industry.

Leadership Speeches: Building Consensus and Anchoring the Direction of Intelligent Manufacturing

In the meeting session that followed, speeches were delivered in turn by Shao Zhirong, Deputy Director of the Wenzhou Bay New Area Economic Development Bureau (District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology); Gao Yi, Vice President of our institute; and Chen Kailei, President of the Wenzhou Bay New Area (Longwan District) New Generation Entrepreneurs Association. Their remarks closely centered on the theme of "seizing strategic opportunities and proactively embracing change," focused on the pathway of "strengthening coordination and synergy while enhancing service efficiency," and set out the goal of "pursuing demonstration-led development to drive an overall leap forward."

An appointment ceremony for industry mentors was also held during the meeting, with Chen Yongxing (Vice President of Fangzheng Valve), Zhang Lei (General Manager of CGN Juner), and Jiang Minhua (Chief Expert of the Intelligent Manufacturing Laboratory of the China National Light Industry Council) engaged as industry mentors of our institute. The addition of these industry mentors has effectively filled a gap in the institute's industry perspective.

Thematic Courses: Top Experts Decode the Path to AI Implementation

How can industrial AI truly be implemented and monetized? At the thematic course, the expert team from Hollysys CUBE delivered hard-hitting answers. Expert Hu Qiaohua pointed out that by driving lean equipment management with AI, achieving full-scale data collection and analysis along with automatic OEE calculation, a closed-loop, full-process system of "pre-event prevention, in-process intervention, and post-event optimization" can be established. Expert Xu Zhaohui's presentation of AI-SOP behavior detection technology was particularly impressive: after being deployed in industries such as inverters and automotive parts, it successfully reduced downtime caused by failures by 30%–50%, lowered the defect rate by 15%–30%, and cut safety risks by more than 90%. Expert Wu Qiwei, leveraging the HolliCube OS, analyzed the core capabilities and breakthrough strategies for implementing industrial AI, offering a replicable technical pathway.

In addition, Jiang Minhua, expert from the China National Light Industry Council, shared the supporting framework for the digital transformation of the light industry from an industry-academia-research perspective, charting a clear course for the intelligent upgrading of regional enterprises. The session was packed with practical insights, helping the manufacturing sector accelerate its digital and intelligent transformation!

On-Site Exchange: Sparking Ideas and Jointly Exploring Strategies for Development

During the on-site exchange session, participating entrepreneurs and technical leads spoke up actively on practical issues such as AI technology adaptability, transformation costs, and implementation timelines, engaging in lively discussions with the expert team. Several enterprises expressed intentions for follow-up cooperation on the spot.

Through the diversified format of "exhibition hall visit + course instruction + interactive exchange," this event built an efficient platform for connecting government, industry, academia, research, and application, effectively deepening manufacturing enterprises' understanding of AI technology in our district and strengthening their willingness to adopt it. Moving forward, our institute will continue to provide follow-up services and refine the list of application scenarios, helping enterprises accelerate on the new track of precision intelligent manufacturing and injecting strong momentum into the development of new quality productive forces in the region.
